Wet Sprinkler System

Wet Sprinkler SystemWet Sprinkler Systems are simple devices that involve only a few operational components that are reliable and uncomplicated.

The commonly installed wet sprinkler systems comprises the automatic sprinklers, and the automatic alarm check valve.

When hot gases rise to the ceiling, the heat breaks a glass bulb of soldered link, thereby releasing a cap and allowing water to flow into a diffuser.

The diffuser disrupts the water flow and breaks it down into controlled droplets that penetrates the plumes and cools down the burning material below its ignition point, which helps to put out the fire.

Only sprinklers directly over the fire will be activated, and all sprinklers are connected to pipe work which provides a water supply from the water mains or from a storage tank via a pump.
